Susan Miller

Susan LaDonna Eanes Miller, 39, of 2402 Old NC 87 a beloved mother, daughter and sister passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at her home following a year of failing health. She was the daughter of Billy Carrington Eanes, Sr. and JoAnn Hicks Eanes. LaDonna worked for the N.C.D.M.V., attended Burlington Assembly of God and was a member of Hines Chapel where she had served as the choir director. Survivors include her daughter Hannah Elizabeth Miller of the home, mother JoAnn Hicks Eanes of the home, father Billy C. Eanes, Sr. of Burlington, brothers Billy Carrington Eanes, Jr. of Burlington, Edward LeGrand Eanes and his wife Betty of Wilmington, former husband Jeff Miller, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Opal and LeGrand Hicks, paternal grandparents Janie and Andrew Eanes. There will be a service 11:00 AM Friday at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum by Pastor Howard Thompson. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. The family will receive friends 10:15 10:45 prior to the service and at other times at the home.
