Steven Taylor

Steven Todd Taylor, 58, of 2100 J. Duke Roney Trail, Lot C-4, died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at his home after a sudden illness. Born in Guilford County he was the son of the late William Earl Taylor and the late Miriam Keifer Taylor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the textile industry and also enjoyed photography. Mr. Taylor is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Lauren Taylor of Black Mountain, NC; a sister, Jane Jarvis and her husband, Kenneth, Jr., of Holly Springs, NC; a brother, Timothy Taylor of Burlington; nieces, Meagan Taylor and Jennifer Jarvis; nephews, Kenneth Jarvis III and C. Taylor Jarvis; a great niece and a great nephew; and his former wife, Wendy Taylor of Graham. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 Thursday, December 4, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church of Burlington by the Rev. Genie Martin. The family will receive friends following the service.
