Steven "Steve" Eugene Capps

Steven “Steve” Eugene Capps, 65, passed away on October 5, 2024 at his home. Steve was a native of Alamance County and was the son of the late Mary Louise Dunevant Capps. 

Steve was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church, where he served faithfully for many years. Before his retirement, he worked for the City of Burlington in the Water and Sewer Department. Steve loved his birds, enjoyed feeding them and watching them. He was a big sports fan especially the Carolina Tar Heels and the Miami Dolphins. 

He is survived by his sister; Sharon Capps of the home. Steve was preceded in death by his mother; Mary Louise Dunevant Capps. 

A service to celebrate Steves life will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Northside Presbyterian Church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials my be made to Northside Presbyterian Church to assist Sharon with expenses, 1805 Vaughn Rd. Burlington, NC 27217
