Steven Sharpe

Mr. Steven Jay Sharpe, age 59, of Elon, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
A native of Alamance County he was the son of the late Clyde Walker Sharpe and the late Ardeth Pegg Sharpe and was married for over 36 years to Mrs. Deborah Ford Sharpe, who survives. He retired from Universal Forest Products after 34 years of service and was currently employed with the City of Burlington. He attended Burlington Assembly of God.
Mr. Sharpe is survived by his wife of the home; four brothers, Toby (Amy) Sharpe, Randall (Tiffany) Sharpe, Daryl (Linda) Sharpe and Gary (Louise) Sharpe; a sister, Reneé Sharpe and her fiancé, Buddy Swaney; three goddaughters/nieces, Cara Sharpe, Becca Sharpe and Taylor Sharpe; and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Burlington Assembly of God by Rev. Bryan Rainbow and Rev. Howard Thompson. Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
