Steven Howard

Burlington, NC Steven Wayne Howard, age 22, passed away and was a native of Alamance County. Steven was a 2006 graduate of Walter Williams High School and is currently a student at Alamance Community College. He is employed with Lone Star restaurant in Greensboro. Survivors include his mother, Gwen Williets Howard and her fiance, David Wayne Shambley of Burlington; father and step mother, Steve Voss Howard, Sr. and Pam Brown Howard of Burlington; maternal grandparents, Glenda and Robert Hogan of Graham; an aunt, Cheryl Herman and her husband, Ken, of Gibsonville; two cousins, Bo Coffin of Burlington and Dee Ann Phillips of Hawaii; and his beloved friend, a Pitt Bull named "Roxy". A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at West Burlington Church of God by Rev. Olin Tatum. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church and other times at the home of his mother.
