Steve Hester

Burlington, NC Steve Lynn Hester, age 51, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at his residence. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late B.C.Hester, Jr. and Mildred Rainey Hester who survives. Steve was a Mason and member of the Bula Lodge # 409 in Burlington and of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Hester of Graham and a daughter, Lexie Hester of Graham; mother, Mildred R. Hester of Burlington; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Sherry Hester of Burlington; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Marvin Boswell of Columbia, South Carolina; nephews, Jason and Josh Hester both of Burlington. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Ben Williams and assisted by Rev. David Harriss and the burial will follow at Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at his mother's home, 2134 Martin Street, Burlington, NC.
