Stephanie Cox

Stephanie Lauren Cox, 30, passed away in a tragic accident that occurred on January 30, 2020.  She was born on April 23, 1989 in Alamance County to Stephen Robertson Cox and Susan Latta Cox.

Stephanie was a 2007 graduate of Western Alamance High School and 2014 graduate of Alamance Community College.

“Stephanie was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved everyone around her and let others be their true selves. Most of all, she loved animals. Her rats, of Twitchy Whiskers Rattery, and her dog, Leelah, were her everything. Stephanie had an eye for beauty and was constantly seeing the lilies and flowers in the ditches and the potential in everything around her.”

Stephanie is survived by her beloved pets, her mother, Susan Cox, her uncles and aunts, Homer and Pat Howell, Donald Latta, Wayne and Karen Brown, Kendell and Regina Bruner, Jay and Donna Latta and many cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Cox.

A private celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to www.petpartners.org or donations be made to the GoFundMe fundraiser for funeral expenses.
