Mrs. Stella Louise Webster Duffer, age 72, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Alamance Health Care after several years of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph William Webster and the late Swannie Dixon McBane Webster and was married for over 52 years to Roy H. Duffer, who survives. Louise was restaurant manager at Burlington Moose Lodge before retiring from Winn Dixie and was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose and was a Shrinette.
Mrs. Duffer is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Tammy Sneed and her husband, Robert, of Florence, SC and Tracey Brazington and her husband, Jason, of Graham; two grandchildren, Matthew Terrell and Christopher Brazington; and a sister, Sylvia (David) Hedrick of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard Webster and Bobby Webster.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Pegg and Rev. Bobby Fann. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:45 Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at her daughter, Tracey's residence, 1415 Old Salem Ct., Graham.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Alamance Health Care for their exceptional care of Louise during her illness and also to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell.
