Stanley Moss

Burlington – Stanley Brent “Stan” Moss, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 following a brief illness.    He was born in Union County, SC on May 4, 1950 to the late CH Moss and Louise Bright Moss and was the husband of 44 years to Jo Ann Seymour Moss of the home.

Stan was a member of Burlington Assembly of God.  He served as a Burlington police officer for many years before retiring and taught crime scene photography for the NC Justice Academy.  He enjoyed photography, spending time at the mountains and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann, brother, Terry Moss and wife Diann and numerous nieces and nephews

A service to celebrate Stan’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bryan Rainbow and Pastor Howard Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Burlington Assembly of God, 821 Tucker St, Burlington, NC 27215.
