Shirley Vincent

Burlington- Shirley Fowler Vincent, 86, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her home. A native of Alamance County she was the daughter of the late Walter Sigsbey and Ollie Barfield Fowler.
Since retiring from AT&T after 37 years of service she enjoyed spending more of her time painting as well as traveling to the beach. Shirley also had a huge heart for children and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Vincent; son, Doug Vincent and wife, Susan; grandchildren, Scott Stubbs and wife, Kristen, Jessie Vincent, Kristin Moore and husband, Travis and Caleigh Vincent; great grandchildren, Parker Glenn Stubbs, Samuel Halen Stubbs Sophia Kay Stubbs and Hunter Moore; sister, June Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Faith Vaughn, Sallie Dixon and Dorothy Berryman.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday August 11, 2018 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Doug and Susan Vincent.
