Shirley Ann Jordan Bradley, 80, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Alamance County to the late Conrad Homer "Bo" Jordan and Opal Mozelle Whitesell Jordan and was the wife of 64 years to Jack Ronald Bradley who survives. Shirley worked with her father and brother, Selden at their Machine and Manufactory Company in Burlington and was a former employee with Stout Forklift. She attended The Lamb's Chapel. Survivors other than her husband, Jack include her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Wayne Rich; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Laurel Bradley; granddaughters, Melissa Allen and husband, Stephen, Lindsay Webb and friend, Michael Griffin, Miranda Bradley and fianc, Steven Lim, Samantha Bradley and Shelley Bradley; great grandchildren, Phillip Quinn, Porter Quinn and Sydney Allen; sister-in-law, JoAnn Rowland Jordan; nieces, Joanna J. Burton and husband, Derrick and Tina Tadros. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Curtis Jordan and Selden Jordan. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Carolyn Burrus with burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Robert Gittin and his staff at Alamance Regional Cancer Center, Hospice nurses and aids that came to the house and the nurses and staff at the Hospice Home, for all their loving care and kindness that was shown to Shirley during her illness.
