Sherry Burford

Sherry Ann McLean Burford, 45, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016. She was born on October 7, 1970 in Petersburg, VA to Harold Grant McLean, Sr. and Linda Fay King Tucker. Sherry graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School.

Survivors include her mother and step father, Linda and Wayne Tucker; father and step mother, Harold and Kay McLean, Sr.; daughter, Brittany Belifore; son, Joshua Burford; sisters, Michele (Donnie) Lunsford, Wendy (Heith) Davis; brother, Harold "Hal" McLean, Jr. and fiancé, Khristall Tyndall; nieces, Courtney Lunsford, Elizabeth Lunsford and Kloee McLean; nephews, Cameron Brown and Tyler McLean; great nieces Caliyah and Karleigh. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bridgette Nicole Burford.

The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Craig Cox with the burial to follow at Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at her mothers' home in Gibsonville.
