Sharyn Hodge

Sharyn Brown Hodge, 73 went to be with her heavenly father and saved loved ones on October, 17, 2018 at The Oakes of Alamance. She was a loving and supportive wife of 48 years to Ronald Hodge, who survives, and a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Sharyn enjoyed the annual beach trip with her in-laws. She retired from Western Steakhouse and worked at Kayser-Roth for many years. Sharyn was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church; she loved her church family and especially her pastor and associate pastor.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy James "Jimmy" Brown and Lillian Hardin Brown.

Sharyn is survived by her husband, daughters; Tina Hodge, Sherry Boutwell and husband John of Troy, AL; and Rhonda Williams of Greensboro; son, Robbie Faucette and wife Michelle, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and brother, Larry Brown and wife, Yvonne of Greensboro.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 6:30pm at Bethel Baptist Church by Rev. David Jackson and Rev. Scott London. The burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 5pm-6:15pm on Monday at Bethel Baptist Church and other times at the home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Alamance-Caswell and The Oakes of Alamance, for the love and compassion that was shown to Sharyn during her illness.
