Sharon Murdock

Burlington - Sharon would like to let you know that as of December 11, 2016 her work on Earth is done. She received a call, a sort of offer she could not refuse, for an appointment for which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family friends, and pets, she has not seen in a long time.
A native of Alamance County, she was born June 23, 1964 to the late Loretta Groce Howell, who we know she was so excited to see, and Wayne Maynard Howell who is still living. She was the wife of 32 years to Tony Bruce Murdock of the home.
Sharon attended Cornerstone Community Church. She loved vacationing at the beach and spending time with her family and friends. She loved and cared for animals and leaves behind her very spoiled dogs, "Otis" and "Elvis", along with a few others. Sharon did a great job of leaving all those she met with a special gift of having her in their lives, especially those she met while working at White Oak of Burlington. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Tony; daughter, Samantha Murdock Haynes and husband Matthew; father, Wayne Maynard Howell; brothers, Johnny Wayne Howell and fiancé Donna Gates, Michael Lynn Howell; nephews, Daniel Howell, Randy Bray; nieces, Darci Duncan and husband Zack, Loretta "Nicki" Howell, Shannon Lloyd , Denise Ore and husband Dickie and numerous cousins, some of which she considered her sisters.
Sharon's life celebration will be held at11:00 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Stephen Hall. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the daughter, Samantha's home.
