Selma Enoch

Burlington, NC Selma Kimbro Enoch, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 29, 2006 at Alamance Health Care. She was a native of Caswell County and the wife of the late Charlie Ross Enoch. Selma was a homemaker and a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Gene Enoch and his wife, Vicki of Burlington, Jerry W. Enoch and his wife, Wanda of New Bern; grandchildren, Michele Champion, Paula Wallace, Lori Dorminy, Shea McNabb, Michael Enoch, Brad Enoch and Sybrina Turney; sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Charlie Empson and Lillian Rudd Kimbro; five brothers and five sisters. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Donald R. Carter and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home of Gene Enoch, 604 Trail Two, Burlington, NC 27215.
