Scottie Cobb

Scottie Wayne Cobb, 73, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Hospice Home after 1 week of critical illness. He was born in Alamance County to the late Archie Elmo Cobb and Annie Sue Hicks Cobb and was the husband to Nancy Ann Williams Cobb of 45 years who survives.

Scottie retired after 21 ½ years with the Graham City Water and Sewer Department. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers; was a member of Carolina Christian Church and a US Army veteran.

Survivors other than his wife, Nancy Cobb include his sons, Scottie Cobb, Jr. and wife, Tina, Dennis Cobb and wife, Susan; grandchildren, Cassi Cobb, Nikki Cobb and Cooper Cobb; great grandchildren, Aunesti Cobb and Promise Cobb; sister, Patricia "Pat" Cobb Aldridge; nieces, Jamie Green and Amy Stanfield; brother-in-law, Tyson Williams and wife, Carolyn Burch; and a sister-in-law, Amanda Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Nancy Lacerda and Sandra Tucker.

The graveside service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Graham Memorial Park by Pastor Mark Mitchell. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the son, Dennis' residence in Whitsett.
