Saundra Kay Riggsbee Penny

Saundra was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.  She worked as a Deputy Clerk for the Hillsborough Clerk of Court and also as a Magistrate for the Chapel Hill Police Department. She enjoyed flower gardening and listening to music of all sorts, especially Elvis. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

Survivors include her sons, Raymond W. Penny (Tracy) and Robert Christopher Penny (Teressa); grandchildren, Robert Owen Penny, Jana Kay Penny, Alexander Penny (Merve), Travis Penny (Angie), John-Ross Penny; great grandchildren, Mason, Mila, Callie, Ryder and sisters, Janie Womble and Debbie Boger.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Burke Riggsbee.

A private family service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
