Salisbury, NC Sarah Lynn Simons McCoy, 28, went home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She lived in Salisbury and was born in Alamance County to Jerome Burton Simons, II and Jamie Little Simons of Burlington. Sarah was a member of First Baptist Church of Gold Hill and was in the US Navy, Builder 2nd Class, NMCB23, Fort Belvoir, VA serving in the Operation Enduring Freedom and currently in the Naval Reserve. Survivors other than her parents, include a brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Phyllis Simons of Burlington; maternal grandparents, Harold and Anita Jean Little; paternal grandparents, Frank and Evelyn Rudd Simons; niece, Alanna Simons; nephews, Sky Bolton and Sam Simons; fianc, Lonnie Flowe of Salisbury; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Toney Parsons. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 to 5:45pm at the funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the parents' home, Jerome and Jamie Simons, 2561 Carolina Road, Burlington, NC 27217. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
