Sara Coble Spoon, 95 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late Walter Everette “W.E.” and Dora Lednam Spoon.
Sara retired Kayser-Roth Hosiery as an Administrative Assistant. She was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. Sara enjoyed working puzzles and sending cards as an outreach for her Sunday School Class. She was devoted to her family and her church and was a caregiver for her mother and father..
She is survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Tom, Bill and Jack Spoon; sisters, Mildred Suggs, Lib Haynes, Rosa Terrell and Bess Spoon and 2 infant siblings
A Celebration of life Service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at St. Mark’s Church by Rev. Ben Bishop. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45pm prior to the service at the church. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Alamance Health Care and Authoracare for their compassionate care for Sara.
