Sara Dixon

Sara Jones Bright Dixon, 68, of 2033 McCray Rd. passed away Thursday November 29, 2007. She was the wife of Cardwell Dixon and the daughter of the late James Alfred Jones and the late Viola Britt Glenn. Sara was a graduate of Mebane High School, Burlington Business College and attended UNC-G and Alamance Community College. She retired from Bank of America as an Assistant Vice-President after 42 years of service was a member of Alamance County Chamber Ladies Division and past President of Credit Women International. Sara was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a member of Mary Dick Sunday School class and Circle # 6. Survivors include her husband of the home, a son James Mike Neese and his wife Christi of Graham, grandsons; Austin Michael Neese, James Michael Jamie Neese, Jr., a step daughter Savannah Tucker and a great granddaughter Hope Elizabeth Neese. She was preceded in death by her previous husband Otis Lee Bright, parents and a brother James Alfred Jones, Jr. The funeral will be held 8:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Genie Martin and Rev. Bennie Smith. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 PM Tuesday prior to the funeral and at other times at the home of Mike Neese, 2108 NC 54, Graham.
