Sandra Thomas

Sandra "Sandy" Kay Durham Thomas, 59, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 at the Hospice Home. She was born March 21, 1956 in Alamance County to the late Gordon and Alene Allen Thompson Durham and she was married to James Byron Thomas, Sr. for 24 years. Sandy worked for Lab Corp for sixteen years and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of the home; step sons, James B. Thomas, Jr., Jeffrey D. Shelia Thomas; step grandchildren Chad Isaac, Faith Thomas, Vann Thomas; brothers, Gary Durham and Jackie Eldene Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Scotty Foster. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church by Rev. Nathan Hooks. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the residence.
