Sandra Lee Misjak, 63, passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at Duke University Medical Center after several months of failing health. She was born in Ashland, KY on November 5, 1953 to the late Clifford White and Neva Lee White who survives and was the wife of 39 years to Edward Frank Misjak of the home.
Sandra was a longtime member of Burlington Assembly of God where she served on the flower committee and was responsible for the bereavement and get well card ministry. She was involved with several outreach ministries including Caring Kitchen, The Gideons International Ladies Auxiliary, the prison ministry and was a member of numerous ladies Bible studies. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband as they traveled the U.S. and visited many other countries. She was a loving wife and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of the home, mother, two nieces, four nephews and brothers, Greg White and wife Arland and Clifton White and wife Helen Kay. She was preceded in death by her father.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bryan Rainbow and Pastor Howard Thompson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home.
