Mrs. Sandra Kaye Huffines Bryant, age 67, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her residence after a sudden illness. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Lilliard Huffines and the late Martha Jean Landman Huffines and was married to Jerry Edward Bryant, who survives. She was a former floral designer with Floral Décor and she also taught special education at Broadview Middle School for several years. Sandra was a former member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where she served as an Eucharist minister, and also a member at Macedonia Lutheran Church, where she was involved in the Womens Circle. Mrs. Bryant is survived by her husband of the home; three daughters, Kimberly Rich and her husband, Steve, and Juliana Nicholson, all of Gibsonville and Emily Bryant of Bellevue, WA; two sons, Jason William Bryant of Burlington and Jonathan Edward Bryant of Bellevue, WA; five grandchildren, Robert Rich, Mikayla Rich, Alese Nicholson, Amalia Martinez and Isaiah Martinez; a sister, Beverly Litten of Graham; a special uncle and aunt, Ebert and Betty Landman of Newport News, VA; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Stephen Rust. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
