Samuel Pulliam

Samuel Todd Pulliam, age 41, of Graham, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at his home after several months of failing health.

Born in Orange County, he was the son of the late Thomas Lee “Sonny” Pulliam, Jr. and the late Judy Lynn Hughes Pulliam and was married for six years to Britton Nichole Stogner Pulliam, who survives.  He was self-employed and specialized in flooring and tile work.  Todd grew up in Carteret County and was an avid surfer and enjoyed boating, fishing and other water related activities.  He enjoyed being outdoors playing with his dog, “Chief”,and also woodworking and carpentry.  He was a people person and was always willing to help someone in need. He was of the Christian faith.

Todd is survived by his wife; his daughter, Kaily Nicole; brother, John Wayne “Johnny” Hartsough III and wife, Felica; maternal grandmother, Frances Laverne Hughes; paternal grandfather, Thomas Lee “Tom” Pulliam, Sr.; several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins; and his beloved dog, “Chief”.

The family will be having a memorial gathering from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.  Following the gathering at the funeral home the family will be hosting a reception at the home of his aunt and uncle, Ellen and Billy Boone.  There will be a memorial service at Cape Lookout at a later date.
