Sallie Burton

Burlington, NC Sallie Swann Burton, age 87, of Burch Bridge Road went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Caswell County and the wife of the Late Jamie J.K King Burton. Sallie was the office manager for J.K. Burton Construction Company owned and operated by her husband until his retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie J.K. King Burton; parents, Wade Hampton and Maggie Love Swann; sisters, Lois Bumpass, Elsie Swann and Margaret Swann; brothers, Aubrey and John W. Swann. The funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. David Kolb and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Graham, 224 N.
