Ruth Wolfe

Elon-Ruth Young Wolfe, 88 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2016.at Liberty Commons surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late James "Jack" Edgar Wolfe.
Ruth retired from Annedeen Hosiery after many years. She was a longtime member of Shallow Ford Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Wolfe Smith and husband, Steve of Burlington; sons, James Randall "Randy" Wolfe and wife, Debbie of Graham, Rex Albert Wolfe of Elon; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Neil Smith. Chad Wolfe and Kristina W. White; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Collins of Charlotte, NC, and Mott Rogers of Statesville, NC; brother, Bill Young of Mooresville, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents,Earl and Esther Webb Young and a brother, John Young.
The Wolfe family would like to thank the nurses and staff of ARMC, Liberty Commons and Hospice of Alamance-Caswell and her caregiver, Pricilia, Mary and Marsha for their kind and compassionate care for Ruth during her illness.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Shallow Ford Christian Church and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 prior to the service at the church.
