Ruth Fogleman

Ruth Overcash Fogleman, 86, of 3251 Alamance Rd. died Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the Hospice Home. She was a native of Iredell County and the daughter of James Samuel and Grace Davis Overcash. She was married to Herbert Eugene Fogleman on December 24th 1938 they would have celebrated 67 years of marriage this December. Ruth was employed with Kayser Roth Hosiery for many years and before retirement she worked for Isley Knitting Mills. She was a member of Alamance Lutheran Church and a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband; Herbert E. Fogleman of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Craig Fogleman and his wife Jeanell; grandson, Jason Fogleman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel Goodson and her brother; Hollis Overcash. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Alamance Lutheran Church by Pastor James D. Lockley and Pastor Jill King. The committal service will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45p.m. Monday prior to the service at the church.
