Burlington, NC Ruth Hudson Feltner Lindley, age 86, of 2709 Catherine Drive went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at her home. She was a native of Berryville, Virginia and the wife of the late Clark Wilson Lindley. Ruth was a homemaker and a volunteer at Alamance Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a member of the Danville, Virginia chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted herself to her family. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn Clark Lindley and his wife, Donna of Waynesboro, Virginia and Alan Lee Lindley and his wife, Alicia of Snow Camp; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; niece, Sally Pettit of Alexandria, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, William Lewis Lindley; parents, Champ and Grace Lanham Feltner; three brothers and three sisters. . The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Dale Matthews and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
