Ruby Winn

Burlington Ruby Reid Winn, 62, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. She was born in Chatham County on June 20, 1949 and was the daughter of the late James Clarence Reid and Isabelle Mabe Murray who survives. Ruby was a member of Berea Christian Church and retired from Alamance Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Williams and husband Paul of Graham; son, John Winn, Jr. of Altamahaw; grandchildren, Caitlin, Emily and Gabriel Williams and Graci Ann Winn; boyfriend of 8 years, Roy Albright; sister, Martha Guffey and brothers, Harold Reid and wife Phyllis, Ronnie Reid and wife Cindy, Mike Reid and wife Ellen and Jimmy Moody and wife Melissa. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Berea Christian Church by Rev. Bland Leebrick, Jr. The burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
