Ruby Mitchell

BURLINGTON- Mrs. Ruby Mae Mitchell, 89, of 1327 Durham St. passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at her residence. Ms. Mitchell was born August 12, 1917 in Alamance county to the late Daniel Henry and Ida Askew Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell was a faithful member of Glen Raven Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters; Ann Isley of Graham and Clara Collins of Burlington; three grandchildren, Angela Smith, Larry Isley, Jr; and Billy Smithey; three great grandchildren, Jeffery Davis, Jr; Angel Smith, and Taylor Smithey. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Glen Raven Baptist Church by the Rev. Bobby Fann and Rev. Jim Hall. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the residence. Condolences may be sent to the family at info@lowefuneralhome.com
