Ruby Ellen Allison

   She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU. She enjoyed baking, reading books and crossword puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and mother-in-law.

   Ruby is survived by her son, Roy Allison and wife Catherine; daughter, Mildred McCuiston Eudy and husband Carrington; sister Frances Spears and two brothers, Charles and Chester Waddell; granddaughters, Ashley Cain and husband James, Nichole Allison and husband Josh Zachrich, Marie Page, Lisa Shephard and grandsons, Richie Bare and Tony McCuiston.  Ruby had 14 great-grandchildren; Joey, Katie, Cameron, Trina, Erin, Allen, Madison, Karley, Jeramiah, Julianna, Jabari, Jr., Adalynn and Raelynn; four nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Allison, sister, Hazel Moorefield and grandson, Baby Boy Allison.

   A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00am on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Marc Sanders with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 4-6pm on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the home. 

   A special thanks to Amanda Hutcherson, Mandy Maness and Faline Doolin for their loving care during Ruby’s final days.
