Rosie Clark

Burlington Rosie Bell Hyler Clark, 99, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Alamance Healthcare. She was born in Rockingham County to the late John Lee Hyler and the late Mattie Roach Hyler and was married to the late Willie Green Clark. Rosie was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting for family and friends. She was a member of West Burlington Church of God. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Preston Bailey of Burlington, Marie and Buddy King of Elon, Louise and Elbert Paschal of Reidsville, Debbie and Dean Phillips of Burlington; sons and daughters-in-law, Dean Clark, Tim and Wanda Clark all of Burlington; fifteen grandchildren, three step grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son Thomas Leroy Clark, four sisters and four brothers. The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Norman Harris, Rev. Olin Tatum and Rev. Carlton Wilson. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the daughter, Marie's home.
