Rose Semiklose

Burlington Rose Pinter Semiklose, age 90, of Burlington passed away 4:30pm on Thursday, March 8, 2008 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Gary, W. VA, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosa Kish Pinter and the wife of the late William Semiklose. She was a homemaker and member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters, Billie Semiklose Gann and her husband Clyde of McLeansville, Eve Semiklose Sullivan and her husband Jim of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Carolyn Semiklose Black and husband John of Manteo, NC; grandchildren, Will and Ben Gann both of McLeansville; granddaughter, Casey Lynne Black of Nags Head, NC; great granddaughter, Jordan Black of Colonial Heights, VA, sister Hazel Pinter Blick of Courtland, VA; nieces and nephew, Vanessa and Vance Blick of Courtland and Vanessa Pinter. She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson, William Paul "Bo" Black, parents, sisters Helen Pinter, Margaret Pinter and Julia "Judy" Pinter; brothers, Alex Pinter and Joe Pinter. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of her grandson "BO" Black.
