Rosalie Godzina Mead

Burlington,N.C.- Rosalie(Godzina)Mead,79 went to be with the Lord September 9th at Alamance Health Care Center.

Ceil was born in Derby, Connecticut on November 20,1942. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Wanda(Susek) Godzina She grew up in Hatfield, Massachusetts and later moved to Virginia.

She enjoyed her career of Nursing for many years. She loved helping people very much.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband John A. Mead and her loving daughter Karen Marie Alsaleh.

Ceil leaves behind her daughter Dawn Feind(Frank),of VA., her son Michael Smith(Linda),of NC., 6 Grandchildren Lukas Feind(Jean), Jessica Dietrich(Robert),Samantha Smith, Nicholas Smith, Kellie Owens(Will) and Kyle Malbone. 8 great grandchildren,Lots of loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her dear roommate Susan Stapleton.

Ceil was loved very much by her family and many friends. She will be dearly missed.

A service will be held on Saturday ,September 17th at 2:00 at the Burlington Christian Church, 301 Trail Four Burlington, NC 27215
