Rosa Neese

Burlington, NC Rosa Elaine Greeson Neese, age 83, of 3864 Wesley Court went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Twin Lakes Center. She was a native of Guilford County and the wife of 65 years to Warren Calvin Neese who survives. Elaine retired from Western Auto after 19 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress making clothes for her family and friends. Elaine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Carmen Kriegsman and her husband, Mel of Greensboro, Jean Berry of Greensboro and Billie Grogan and her husband, Kennis of Chapel Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Terry Neese and his wife, Sharon of Greer, South Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Vance, Coy and Hoy Greeson all of McLeansville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Gilmer and Susan Harriet Andrews Greeson; sisters, Florine Stafford and Nola Woodard. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ by Rev. Lloyd Spencer and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
