Gibsonville, NC Rosa Marie Smith Von Ingelheim, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Wesley Long Hospital. She was a native of Orange County and the daughter of the late Charlie Jackson Smith and Lena Grace Hamlet Smith who survives. Rosa was a seamstress for interior decorators for many years and taught sewing classes at ACC. She enjoyed flower gardening and bowling. In her younger days she enjoyed riding her motorcycle. Rosa loved to laugh and she had a gift for making everyone she met smile. She is survived by her mother of Gibsonville; son;Mickey Von Ingelheim and daughter-in-law Jennifer Brady of Raleigh;daughters, Sabrina McMillen and her husband, Greg of Snow Camp, Selena Wolfe and her husband, Rusty of Florida and Samantha Von Ingelheim of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Trey Von Ingelheim, Michael Von Ingelheim, Dustin and Chris Coble; sister, Carolina Lane and her husband, Wallace of Burlington; brothers, Charlie Smith and his wife, Brenda of Burlington and Wayne Smith and his wife, Jean of Haw River. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Pegg. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Samantha Von Ingelheim at other times.
