Ronnie Lynn Wyrick

He is survived by his brother, Robert “Robbie” Wyrick and his wife, Lynn of Gibsonville; cousins: Teresa Hensley (Tim) of Burlington. Cindy House (Todd) of Mebane, Todd Rutledge and Blake Rutledge of Burlington; Aunt and Uncle: Sandra and David Pollock of Efland.

Lynn was a fun-loving person, who loved people.  He was always joking around and picking on everyone.  He was a hugger and was very affectionate with everyone he met.  Lynn loved bowling and was a member of the group “Guys and Dolls” Bowling League.  Lynn will miss riding his moped and playing the tambourine. His favorite past times included watching professional wrestling and pulling for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Along with his parents, Lynn was predeceased by his uncle and aunt, Ron and Jean Perry, whom Lynn lived with for the last ten years.

The funeral service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Norman Fargis. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45pm, before the service at Lowe Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Elon.

Lynn was an amazing person who overcame many obstacles in life due to his mentally challenged condition, especially relying upon his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and many individuals.  The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Cindy, Blake and Todd for giving him special care during his final years.  Sandra and David provided him a home for several years as his second Mom and Dad.
