Ronnie Burton

Burlington Ronnie Lester Burton, age 57, of 1008 Fix St. passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at his residence. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Sherry Holliday Burton and son of the late Lester B. Burton and Margie McKinney Burton who survives. Ronnie was a retired Boilermaker with the Boilermakers Union, local 30 and attended Andrews Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Holliday Burton of the home; daughter; Brooke Burton of Burlington, son, Kerry Burton and wife Sarah of Snow Camp; mother, Margie McKinney Burton of Burlington; sister, Barbara Sessoms and husband Terry of Greensboro; 4 grandchildren, Sierra Jacobs, Dazya Cheek, Makayla Burton and Hailey Burton. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in the Lowe Funeral Home chapel by Dr. Tommy Willis. Interment will follow in Baynes Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Burton will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service.
