Ronald Wright

Ronald Wayne Wright, 74, passed away peacefully on early Wednesday, February 17, 2021 while surrounded by his family.

Ronald was born February 19, 1947 in Alamance County to the late Roland Wright and Dorothy Murchison Wright.  He was a truck driver and was an avid golfer in his spare time.  Ronald served his country in the US Army.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all his family and friends.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Angelia of the home; sons: Brock Wright and wife, Ashley of Burlington, and Keith Wright of High Point; grandchildren: Kayleigh, Briana and Trey, Ethan, and Summer; great grandchild, Forest; sister, Pearl Hanna and husband, Ron; and a brother, Earl Wright.

Along with his parents, Ronald was predeceased by a stepson, Gary Woody; and brothers: James, John, and George Wright; and a sister, Wanda.

A funeral service to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held 2:00pm on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Staley Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane with military honors. The family will be available at the church one hour prior, from 1:00 till 2:00 PM before the service on Friday.
