Robin Marley

Gibsonville-Robin Gerringer Marley, 38, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. She finally got rid of that dumb wheel chair and can be found walking in heaven with her big brother, Dean. The two of them are no doubt up to something. You've been warned.
Robin was a pharmacy tech at Medicap Pharmacy on Harden Street and a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church. She was a 1997 graduate of Western Alamance and received her Business degree from Alamance Community College. She enjoyed cooking which was one of her many God given talents and watching movies on the Hallmark channel. Robin was fun, caring and loving. She regularly reminded her family that if they needed anything, she'd come running, even though she couldn't run very well. She'd still run. If you're reading this and you have a Robin in your family, please give her a hug and tell her you love her.
Robin is survived by her devoted parents: George Gerringer, her father, and Betty Jean Gerringer, her mother and co-best friend. Robin is also survived by three siblings: Don (her quiet rock), Simon (who, as Robin would lovingly put it, "ain't right"), and Susan Randolph (her other co-best friend). They're devastated to lose their proud, cheerful, loving little sister and her "Betty Rubble" laugh. She also leaves behind a handful of heartbroken nieces and nephews, Amanda Moffett and husband, Luke and Craig Gerringer and wife,Liv, Bobby Gerringer and wife, Amanda, Brandon Gerringer and Matt Randolph, who will dearly miss their Aunt Ra-Ra, as well as three loving in-laws, Randy, Cheryl and Tammy, her longtime partner, Randall, and a large circle of extended family and friends.
A special thank you to her friends and co-workers at Medicap Pharmacy who have been so supportive during her illness.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Altamahaw Baptist Church by Dr. Steve Tucker and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at her brothers home, Don Gerringer in Burlington.
