Robin Mangum

Robin Whitfield Mangum, 57, of Burlington, and former resident of Greensboro for over 25 years, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Hospice Home. She was a native of Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Broddie M. Whitfield and Shirley A. Whitfield who survives. She graduated from N.C. State University and worked for Impact Fulfillment Services. Robin was a member of Life Community Church in Greensboro and currently attended St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She is survived by her mother, Shirley A. Whitfield of Burlington; brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Michelle Whitfield of Burlington and a niece who was the love of her life, Ashtyn Michelle Whitfield. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. David Horton and Rev. Micah Ray with interment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home and other times at her mother's home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
