Robert "Bob" Jennings

Mebane-Robert “Bob” Kenneth Jennings, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Bob was a native of Salem, New Jersey and moved to North Carolina to attend UNC-Chapel Hill, graduating in 1968. While at UNC, he participated in the Air Force ROTC and was a disc jockey interviewing many memorable people including the late Dean Smith. He retired from a long career in telecommunications. Bob enjoyed fishing, watching UNC athletics, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Lynnae Robyn Jewell Jennings, daughter, Chantel Robyn Click and husband, CJ; sons, Bobby Kenneth Jennings, Spenser Ryan Jennings, Aaron Matthew Jennings and grandson, Benji Click all of Mebane. He also leaves behind a daughter, Amy Jennings St. Louis and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Brenda Lee and Ryan St. Louis both all of High Point.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Faulkner Jennings, father, Robert Francis Jennings and a daughter, Tanya Kay Jennings.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 6pm at Fellowship Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the foyer of the church. The family will be at the home at other times to receive family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to Christian Adventurers of which he was a member of the board of directors for the last 16 years. Checks may be payable to Christian Adventurers, P O Box 292, Graham, NC 27253.
