Robert Wright

Graham, NC Robert Stephen Steve Wright, age 50 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 8, 2006 at the hospice home. He was a native of Mobile, Alabama and the husband of 25 years to Debra Amison Wright who survives. Steve graduated from Theodore High School in Theodore, Alabama and attended Pensacola Junior College, as well as the University of South Alabama. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy. Steve was a professional portrait photographer and served as Regional Manager for Portrait Industries in St. Louis, Missouri. After re-locating to Burlington, NC he was a free lance graphic artist for Holt Manufacturing. Steve was an avid disc golf player and was instrumental in helping create greater interest in the sport for this area. Steve was devoted to his family and enjoyed sharing his hobby with others. Survivors include his wife, Debra Amison Wright of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Marie Wright Inman and her husband, Mitchell of Burlington; step son and spouse, Brandon McDaniel and his wife, Kristi of Burlington; grandsons; Christian and Ian McDaniel; Mother and step father, Senoth Eleanor Bankston and her husband, John of Maryland; step sister, Randall Betty Christensen of Maryland; sister, Nancy Lynette Wright of Mobile, Alabama; step mother, Norma Tibbetts Wright of Texas; step brothers; Richard Wayne Tibbetts, Kenneth Neil Tibbets all of Texas; Step Sister, Lynda Kaye Duvall of Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Gaston Wright. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Jerry Lathan.
