Robert Wilson

Mr. Robert Allen Wilson, age 67, of Hurt, VA passed away on July 8, 2020 at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC after several years of failing health.

Born in Alamance County, he was the son of the late William Glenn Wilson, Sr. and the late Bertie Cobb Wilson and was married to Mrs. Dana Marie Beck Wilson, who survives.  Robert was employed with Labels, Tags and Inserts for many years and worked his way up to Vice-President.  He was a member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church and formerly served as a volunteer in the youth department.  Robert enjoyed sports, especially golf, and was an avid Duke Blue Devils and Minnesota Vikings fan.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of the home; three children, Angela Wilson, Chris Wilson and his wife, Aislynn, and Kelley Storey and her husband, Brock; four grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Drew and Zoey; eight step grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Addisyn and McKinsleigh; a sister, Irma Collins; a brother, Gary Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jennifer Wilson; two sisters, Iantha Goode and Inarae Mitchell; and three brothers, William G. Wilson, Jr., Kenny Wilson and Roger Wilson.

The family will be holding memorial services at later date.
