Robert Whitaker

Burlington-Robert Dennis "Bobby" Whitaker, 50 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Hospice home.. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of John Coy Whitaker, Sr. and June Forbis Whitaker.
Bobby retired from ARS Heating and Air and attended New Covenant Fellowship Church in Graham. He was survived by his parents of Burlington; step sons, Michael and Tyler Crutchfield of Burlington; brother, John Coy Whitaker, Jr. and wife, Gayla of Bennett, NC ; sister, Teresa Hawk and husband, Eddie of Mebane; Sabrina Enoch and husband, Robert of Burlington; special niece, Crystal Pfohl and husband, David of Fuquay Varina, NC and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Shane Whitaker.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Neff and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 pm on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
The family would like to thank Dr. Khan, Dr. Singh and all the nurses and staff of ARMC and Hospice for their compassionate care for Bobby.
