Robert Simon

Robert "Bob" Peter Simon, 69, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of Marion Scattaretico Simon and was born July 14, 1944 in Yonkers, NY to the late Joseph and Anna Marie Sapienza Simon. He had retired from A.T.& T after many years of service and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of the home, a daughter Joanne Rich and her husband Jeff, a son Robby Simon and his wife Caren all of Graham, grandchildren Connor Simon, Griffin Simon, a sister Theresa Cavaliere and her husband Robert of Newtown, CT, a brother Joseph Simon of Yonkers, NY, a special brother-in-law John Scattaretico and his wife Jasmine of Yorktown, NY, several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Norman Whitney. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home and at other times at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215 or St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
