Robert Sartin, Sr.

Robert Johnson Sartin, Sr. passed away Friday February 4, 2011. He was the husband of Dorothy Jean Kirby Sartin for fifty four years and was born January 12, 1935 in Orange County to the late Willie and Mary Bradsher Sartin. He retired from the town of Mebane and was a member of the Peoples Church in Mebane. Survivors include his wife of the home, children; Karen Walker, Robert Sartin, Jr. both of Mebane, Marie Davis of the home, Richard Sartin of Burlington, sisters; Grace White of Hurdle Mills, Gladys Sears of Greensboro, Mary Ruth Kirby of Prospect Hill , a brother Jackie Sartin of Roxboro, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. There will be celebration of his life 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Peoples Church in Mebane. The family will receive friends following the service.
