Robert Poole

Robert William Bob Poole, 75, of 132 Holly Ridge Lane passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy Dottie Sherrill Poole and the son of the late Czar and Alma Mullis Poole. Bob was a native of Stanley County, retired from Western Electric, a member of Riverside Baptist Church and served in the US Navy. Survivors include his wife Dottie of the home, daughters; Tina Poole of Burlington, Lisa Poole of Graham, Teresa Ann Scruggs of Raleigh, sons; Robert W. Poole, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Caswell County, David Lynn Poole of Burlington, Wade Thomas Brooks, Jr. of the home, a brother Max Poole, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. There will be no service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County, PO Box 3673, Burlington, NC 27215.
