Robert Pegg

Haw River-Robert Eugene "Gene" Pegg, age 79 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30, 2014. He was a native of Alamance County and the husband of 39 years to Rachel Anderson Lamb Pegg who survives. Gene was retired from White Furniture Company and later employed with Thompson and Arthur Paving and D& S. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a loving and devoted husband. Survivors include his wife, Rachel Anderson Lamb Pegg of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth Pegg. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jonathan Graves. The family will receive friends following the service.
