Robert Minor

Burlington Robert "Bob" Henry Minor, Sr., 74, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was born March 8, 1938 to the late Henry Armistead and Viola Nightengale Minor and was the husband of 41 years to Mary Ann Lubno Minor of the home. Bob was employed with Collins and Aikman as a plant manager and served in the US Air Force. He attended Blessed Sacrament Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Nancy Ann; sons, Robert Henry Minor, Jr. and wife Desiree and Frank Armistead, all of Burlington; brothers, Lenoard Minor and wife, Leslie, Lee Minor and wife, Pat and Ray Minor and wife, Virginia; granddaughters, Lily Minor and Ariel Minor and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred "Butch" Minor. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church by Rev. Paul Gabriel, OFM. Conv. The burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
